  1. Welcome to Commode 1.0 Alpha.  Written by Michael Vincze.

  4. WHAT IS COMMODE?
  5. ----------------------------------------------------------------------
  6. Commode is a MS-Windows 3.1 program that is used in conjunction with
  7. the Windows File Manager.  Commode allows you to drag and drop files
  8. from the File Manager onto a Commode icon or Commode window that will
  9. temporarily hold your file until you are sure you want it deleted
  10. (flushed.)

  12. Note Commode runs only with MS-Windows 3.1.

  15. AUTHORS NOTE.

  17. Some people might find Commode offensive.  The filenames and sounds
  18. may appear to be vulgar.  If you do then please accept my apologies.
  19. Depending on user feedback I may change the filenames.  Also for the
  20. future I plan on adding a filth level.

  25. Commode 1.0 Alpha is being distributed freely in hopes that the
  26. author will get feedback from users.  Feel free to make copies and
  27. distribute Commode 1.0 Alpha as you please (provided a fee is not
  28. incurred other than normal BBS fees.)  But please do not alter any
  29. files.

  43. INSTRUCTIONS ON INSTALLATION.

  45. The following files are required for Commode:
  46.  
  47.     Commode.Exe
  48.     Commode.Ini
  49.     Clink.Wav
  50.     Fart.Wav
  51.     Flush.Wav
  52.     Piss.Wav
  53.     Plop.Wav
  54.     Ugh.Wav
  55.     Deepduki.Wav
  56.     Bwcc.Dll
  57.  
  58. Commode.Exe, Commode.Ini, and *.Wav can be placed anywhere on your
  59. system.  The only requirement is to have them in the same directory.
  60. If you add Commode to the Program Manager, then have the working
  61. directory point to the directory you placed Commode.Exe,
  62. Commode.Dll, and *.Wav in (Note: This is the Program Manager's
  63. default.)

  65. Bwcc.Dll must be placed either in the aforementioned directory or
  66. your Windows System Directory.

  68. For my system I have the following:

  73.     C:\Commode\Fart.Wav

  81. Since Commode plays .Wav files you must also have a sound driver
  82. installed.  If you do not have a sound card, then you can still play
  83. Commode noises through your PC speaker.  I have also included a
  84. PC-Speaker driver.  In order to install this, you must unzip
  85. Speaker.Zip and install it per the provided MS-Windows 3.1 Control
  86. Panel icon and select Drivers.  Consult the Windows manual for
  87. instructions on installing drivers.

  93. Simply invoke Commode either from the File Manager or from the
  94. Program Manager like any other Windows program.  Commode provides
  95. simple instructions under the Help Menu.
